We purchased the WS6 Mini based on the advertised 24VH capability.

Please restore this capability ASAP as we need it to use the WS6 Mini to power Ubiquiti EP-R6 Edgepoint routers (which need more current over 4-pair 24V POE-IN to power up to 4 2-pair 24V devices attached to them).

1) The WS-6 is not advertised with 24VH anymore and has not been for 2 years.

2) 24VH is not needed to power any UBNT radios made today or for the past 2 years
airMAX radios all use 24V and not 24VH except for Titanium Rocket M2 and M5
airFIBER 2X, 3,X , 55 all support 24V on short cable runs, 24VH, 48V, and 48VH

3) There was not enough room on the board and to keep the cost the same. Made more sense for port 2 to support 24V, 48V, 48VH then just 24VH and 48VH as more people use these switches to power airMAX and UniFI radios which eliminated port 2 for this purpose.
WHy would you power an EP-R6 with a WS-6-MINI? The EP-R6 should not be powered with a WS-6-MINI as the WS-6-MINI only has either 60W or 80W depending on which POE option you are using and up to 100W max if powered by another Netonix switch with a 48VH port.
So the the WS-6 needs 6 watts for itself then if your powering 4 radios on ports 3-6 on the WS-6 MINI that is another 12W to 18W per port so assume average of 15 watts per port or 60 watts so not you are up to 6 + 60 watts = 66 watts so you do not have many watts left to then power an EP-R6 which can power even more radios and use a LOT of watts. This seems like a fool hardy thing to do and will result in under current which will result in random unknown behavior.

I am at a loss as to why you would want to power an EP-R6 from a WS-6-MINI, not enough wattage.

Unfortunately you left out 24VH on the next size up (8 port) as well. One needs to move up to the 12 port to get 24VH.

I understand why you took it out of the 6 port since those ports were needed more for 2-pair power. That said however, we were able to convert 48VH to 24V 2-pair with the Instant AF converter.

There are situations where the WS-6-MINI is not necessarily full and the EP-R6 (which can be located further away from the WS-6-MINI) or another device needs more power hence the need for 24VH support. That is not at all "foolhardy".

Please do not overly interpret customer intentions and limit scenarios of use for your product. Some people like me purchased it based on the 24VH capability and would like to have it restored, especially if it can be done through software update.

Not a software issue, requires hardware.

We got TONS of WS-6-MINI back RMA because people needed another 24V port so they tried 24VH on an airMAX radio and POOF.

To offer 24V and 24VH on port 2 would require more hardware, larger board, and increase MSRP.

We were forced to choose between 24V or 24VH for port 2
