Hello, I have a new switch WS-8-150-AC that hasn't been on the field. The switch is just not responding to anything.
- The fan is not turning when we power it
- Nothing on the console port
- Heating coming from the side of the console connector
- Reset did nothing
The technician has been able to configure it in his truck but after putting it in the box, it hasn't restarted.

Re: Dead WS-8-150-AC
I have another switch (same model) that has been on the field for more than one year that the fan is making a lot of noise. It is still on warranty ? Otherwise, can I get a new fan with the other RMA (if any) ?
Thank you
Thank you

Re: Dead WS-8-150-AC
You need to RMA the unit, if we determine the unit failed or is defective the repair is free.
If we find visible damage to the board such as a shorted cable or such there is a repair fee.
Yes you could purchase a fan and have it shipped back with your RMA.
Step 1 is to RMA the unit and we will let you know what we find.
Click the link in the footer of our web site to get RMA instructions.
Fans are sold on the web site under replacement parts.

I would question whether the inverter used in the truck is suitable.
