ok I have several and by that I mean 3 of the WS-1-150-AC that have been doing this thing where they randomly reboot,, first I though I hand an issue with wiring and or possible power issues at these sites as they were new.. well long story short i have pulld 2 of the 8 ports out and replaced them with 12 ports and have had no further issues,, the one site left on the 8 port has this continual random reboot happening.. power is good, grounding is next to perfection as its on an old verizon site and we have bonded to their already bonded grounds, and i have a 12 port at that site not having any issues.. i hate to pull another 8 port out and replace it with a 12 for no reason and then i have 3 paper weights sitting on a shelf. firmware is the latest 1.5.0rc3 board rev F, any ideas would be helpful as i like the 8 ports for my small repeater sites but i guess i will just invest in 12 if they wont work.
as i was writing this the switch went down again,, 2 times in the last 20 min,, but sometimes it will go weeks or a month without rebooting.
thanks for your guys help, i really like the netonix switch i just dont like the 8 port that much right now..lol

If the units are defective or even damaged we offer to repair units so your paper weight comment is not accurate nor fair.
There "was" a known issue with a production run of that model which is covered under warranty regardless how old it is, read ITEM #2 on this list: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2591&hilit=most+common+rma#p18176
I would pull any units rebooting, obtain an RMA # for each unit and RMA them.

Re: WS-8-150-AC - random reboots
Not trying to be unfair in the description as paper weights, but at the moment that is what they are and why I am reaching out to you.. after reading Item #2 on the list that sounds about accurate,, as for age I seriously couldn't tell you but I have had them for quite some time as we bought a few of the 8 ports at the beginning of using your products, To hopefully help you understand how I feel about your products, I haven't purchased any other switch but Netonix on my towers. I have also influenced 3 other wisps to purchase you product line,, it was just these 8 ports like i described and that is why I have reached out to you.. Thank you you guys have been awesome

No worries we cover that defect for the life of the switch under warranty.
If you send us an undamaged otherwise unit with that defect even if 5 years old we would fix and return it for free.
And thanks for your support.

Re: WS-8-150-AC - random reboots
Is there a particular revision that has this issue? I've had one of the smaller 150s (Revision F) do this a couple of time that last few days. Otherwise, the little bit larger (all mine are revision D) ones have been out for years and I haven't had an issue. I have a number of "F" I'm about to put in service thus the curiosity.
Thanks
Thanks

The issue was with a production BATCH of boards not an entire revision. Also it was random in the production batch so we can not even provide a range of MACs as it is random.
It has not been an issue for more than a year now.
If you think you have a faulty unit you can power it up then link all the ethernet ports, POE for the port is not a factor just an Ethernet link. If all ports link at 100M or preferably 1G and it runs for several hours without a reboot then your fine.

Re: WS-8-150-AC - random reboots
I replaced my 150 with an 8-250 and haven't had issues. Does this look like the behavior you mentioned? In my test with all Ethernet ports linked the switch lasted about 24 hours before it started doing this. Rebooting didn't seems to help unless I unplugged some of the ports and then rebooted.

I would RMA it and let us look at it. When submitting your RMA request detail what your testing did in the Symptoms.
