I'd prefer to do some testing before stating authoritatively as to whether what you are proposing will work. I'll get back to you.

Yes, I hope this thing will plug right into the WISP switch....I am planning on getting one for one end of the link. The other end....well....nobody likes to make DC powered POE switches :(

I'm running a B5C on a wisp switch and have been for works. works fine.

They are putting it where we had planned to use a UBNT airMAX AC but we needed 5150-5250 because 5.7 is full and I do not trust it to be DFS as it would be a backup to our main AF24 and DFS false positives are a Pain in the arse.

But it looks like it would be fine on a standard 48V port. I can test that if anyone wants me to. this B5C is just laying in the data center. been to cold to get it up on a tower

NICE, then you can use the 48V standard ports or the 48VH ports!

So looking at that screenshot I see two things jumping out at me,
1)an apparent Airfiber running under 20 watts
and
2) the B5C running under 10 watts
How is this miracle possible ?!?

For those interested, here is my non production B5C running on a no VH port. While booting I saw a max of 12.9 watts. but then it settled down to around 9.8 watts.
This radio isn't connected to another radio, it's just sitting in the data center. The wispswitch is feeding it with 50.2 volts

Depends if the AF5 is connected to another radio or just sitting there throwing out beacons. The current sensors are pretty accurate. My AF24 units pull on average 47-49 watts depending on cable length.
