Removed all trunk mode configs and left the Vlans as really its not needed.
I cannot seem to make it work its really very simple. Down one port, UP another and everything should be transparent. We used to do this with a CRS112 before. Do not understand why the netonix requires a reboot still. Why does the remote party play any role in this as its fixed with a reboot after port cycling.
You may contact me in private if you want access to check.
Thanks

Are you using firmware v1.5.0 ?
There were a lot of fixes in v1.5.0

Re: Weird MAC/Vlan related issues with multiple uplinks
I must say I never saw reboot needed on anything for a netonix but it's hard to help when your not sure what you want to do. It's may be clear for you but maybe not for those reading you. You must help us to help you by giving us enough info to help.
On your CCR, are vlan configured on bridge ? Are you sure you don't need any untagged vlan ? I would like to see a print screen of your CCR interface tab with VLAN ID column shown.
As for connecting to your switch, Chris or other Netonix staff could maybe do it but I'm not really confortable to do it as a non Netonix staff (Netonix associate title may be confusing).

Re: Weird MAC/Vlan related issues with multiple uplinks
@sirhc Currently running 1.5.0rc4 as this is a WS-26-500-DC.
@mike99 We too have not needed to reboot a netonix for anything beside a hardware fault case that was repaired and working fine now.
On the CCR the bridge config just has one vlan for management access only. The rest is handled by the switch chip - basic stuff just passing vlans on the ports it should.

Re: Weird MAC/Vlan related issues with multiple uplinks
But on the netonix, the're not any vlan untagged so it won't communicate with the bridge without vlan. You must had vlan to your CCR or untag a vlan on the netonix.
Why so many vlan trunked to the CCR ?

Re: Weird MAC/Vlan related issues with multiple uplinks
Management access is not the only issue. All vlans do not pass when we change port. Nothing - no traffic traverses the link unless rebooted.
This is not about tagging/un-tagging. Rebooting makes it work so the configuration is correct as it is.

Re: Weird MAC/Vlan related issues with multiple uplinks
@sirhc i will give it a try - the changelog does not seem to include any differences that might affect this but will upgrade and see how it goes.
Thanks

Upgrade had no effect im afraid :(
Re: Weird MAC/Vlan related issues with multiple uplinks
Disabling the default "Enable Querier" for each VLAN fixed our issue.
