Hi:
In last firmware 1.4.X sometimes UI interface show frozen. After update last firmware 1.5.0, some switches show me ui interface frozen yet.
I kill process and restart lighthttp service but UI is still frozen. Only when i reboot the switch then UI interface is running again.
Also, i think some time when apply a change, this change is showed on UI but really is not apply on switch's configuration.
This situation force me to work in CLI mode to be sure changes are been aplicated.
Thanks in advance.

Re: UI Frozen
You do not by chance have more than one Netonix Manager monitoring those switches do you? THIS IS BAD
Also if using SNMP do not poll the switch too often as the more you poll a switch the more CPU you utilize and the little MIPs 24K is not very powerful as it is there just to run the UI/CLI

Support is handled on the Forums not in Emails and PMs.

Re: UI Frozen
Hi sirhc:
I'm not using SNMP but i take note if a future i use it. About Netonix Manager, i have installed it at my notebook, and my partner too. But notebooks are not running, and usually when we are working only one is inside Netonix Manager... but we use Netonix Manager only for update firmware. We have not any server running all time Netonix Manager.
Usually situation start when i can't enter inside dashboard by web browser, then i connect by SSH -> cmdline, type TOP and take note ID Lighhttp process, then kill it. After kill it, i restar service /etc/init.d/lighthttp restart. After this operation, i can enter in dashboard but is frozen.
When screen is frozen, i can change tabs and select or ticks options, but MB counter is all time frozen, graphics under dashboard is frozen and when i make a change, when push apply button, the countdown goes to the end, and come back dashboard again without change applied.
