Netonix WS-8-150-DC 1.4.9
passed traffic on port 7 (sfp port) while disabled,
it happened on Saturday and it just happened today,
caused a circular while the port was unchecked and saved.
Any ideas?
for redundancy we leave multiple feeds plugged into this switch, at a crossroads, and then liven the one in current use.
When we clean up the dual paths we will put them in trunks, but in the mean time, they pass traffic when disabled.
Netonix Switch passes traffic when port is disabled.

Re: Netonix Switch passes traffic when port is disabled.
You know I noticed this the other Saturday when working on RMAs with a WS-24-400A.
I meant to talk to the programmers on this and was not sure if it affected other models.
WHat I noticed was if I disabled the SFP traffic stopped but then resumed again.
I will get the programmers looking into this, thanks for reminding me.
