Hey Guys,
I've got a port that keeps getting disabled. The POE stays on so I'm assuming its not a POE issue.
Any thoughts?

Re: Port Disabled
Never heard of such a thing?
I would check the system/switch logs.
I would run cable diagnostics to see if the cable has errors.
Could be a bad cable or end.

Re: Port Disabled
Sounds an awful lot like loop protection, which is enabled by default.

This is TRUE, good call!
I change my opinion to match yours, glad "I" thought of it!
But in my defense if had checked the system switch logs it would have reported Loop Protection disabled it!

Re: Port Disabled
How is the email alerting coming along? Ja, I know I could just make a loop and see what happens but too lazy. I could also search for your roadmap and see where it is on the list.
