I am using STP. I also recently upgraded a couple (less than 5) of my Ubiquiti radios to 6.1.8 firmware. I don't recall if I was having the issue prior to the 6.1.8 upgrade or not.. But over in the Ubnt forums there was some chatter about 6.1.8 causing some network issues.. So I rolled back to 6.1.7. It's only been half a day so I don't know if this has solved the problem or if it was even related to the problem.
I will continue to monitor...
I do see that the only switch I have with more than a couple days uptime also has memory usage that is very high.... Not sure if that's related or not..

Re: v1.5.0 Bug reports and Comments
I do not think it is v6.1.8 as all my airMAX N radios are v6.1.8 and my switches are not rebooting and I am running v1.5.0 on Netonix and of course some v1.5.1rc7
Your one's memory is ridiculously high?
Any time you think you have an issue start disabling things one at a time and see if it goes away then narrow down.
Like I said with LARGE FLAT segments you should disable Discovery TAB.

I hadn't thought much about it till now. We're not a large flat network, but with 25-45 cpe's hanging off each AP that's a ton of load for discovery. Even having each AP/port in it's own vlan that switch still sees all that discovery traffic.

25-50 is nothing, I have a couple hundred client radios on a switch not a problem for the Discovery TAB.

I also have a WS 12 250 dc that keeps cold booting. I've noticed that the memory usage gets really high until there is no free memory about the time it will reboot itself. Any ideas?

And your using what firmware version?
Is it a large flat segment?
Did you try disabling the Discovery TAB?
Not without much more information.

Re: v1.5.0 Bug reports and Comments
Pics are from the same switch that rebooted itself last month. Seems to happen a few days after i see a memory spike. As a test before i upgrade to 1.5.1rc8 I rebooted the unit to see if memory usage would go back down and hopefully prevent an issue with the upgrade. As you can see the memory usage went down dramatically after just a reboot. Will let u know if i have the same issue running the current FW version.

Re: v1.5.0 Bug reports and Comments
We've upgraded all 15 of our WS-12-250-DC wisp switches to 1.5.0 a few months ago and now suffer from continuous random reboots across the board. It's happening about once every 3-5 weeks on different towers.
Typically these are just running an airfiber or two and maybe 1 or 2 APs. We've turned off STP (as we don't have any looped connections), because it was causing some terrible layer-2 root bridge issues (as per the notes, it isn't yet stable). We also run an LACP-P LAG to a mikrotik on every one. Other than that they're pretty vanilla.
What can we do to narrow down the problem and get this resolved?

Re: v1.5.0 Bug reports and Comments
I do not think this is from v1.5.0 as thousands of people are using v1.5.0 including me with no issues.
But hey downgrade a few units to v1.4.9 and verify it stops. Make sure it is a unit that was previously v1.4.9 as newer units require v1.5.0 or newer firmware.
Sometimes shit happens and appears to be one thing and its not.
Beyond that disable every service not 100% needed and see if stops. If it does stop then enable 1 service at a time until it starts again.

Re: v1.5.0 Bug reports and Comments
It is not true. Every my switches with 1.5.0 is rebooted by watchdog because high memory usage. Only few pieces, but other with older firmware is OK.
