Or power it with a power supply that has filtering as the WS-12-DC is designed to connected to a power supply.
Now if you mounted the WS-12-DC up on a tower and sent DC power up to it then your boned as the DC power lines pick up the FM signal and carry it into the switch.
In reality we did not design any of our switches to be mounted on a tower except the WS-6-MINI in a box we provide.
