SNMP - Voltage - WS-26-500-DC

Mon May 06, 2019 12:58 pm

Hi,

i've had a look around the forum, but couldn't put my finger on a topic, that covered this issue.

Is there any particular reason, that the WS-26-500-DC returns a nonsense value for voltage in SNMP ?

The webinterface reports correctly 27.0V.

Yet, SNMP reports: iso.3.6.1.4.1.46242.4.1.3.4 = INTEGER: 330

I have tested this under 1.5.0 and 1.5.2. Same result.

All our WS-8-150-DC and WS-12-250-DC report the voltage correctly.

This is not a known problem. I will begin tests to see if I can replicate and fix it.

Did this problem ever get looked at?

Our new WS-26-500-DC installed this morning has the same issue,

Firmware Version 1.5.5
Board Rev B
Power Supply Firmware Version 70
Power Supply Board Rev A

It's not resolved, as far as I know. Still waiting on a fix.

Hey guys, sorry I didn't get back to this sooner. This is actually a related problem to some other issue's we see with SNMP:

If you look at my post to Ludvick here, I explain basically what's happening. On further testing I saw that sometimes specific values are missing or malformed. I am working on this issue now but it is taking awhile because it has to do with net-snmpd internals dealing with it's cache system.
