VLAN issue on Netonix switches

Thu May 16, 2019 6:16 pm

hi all,
we've been looking into an issue for the last 10 days where all of a sudden the VLANs on the switches stopped passing traffic unless there was an interface VLAN (IP address assigned to the VLAN)

most the switches are running 1.4.2 firmware and i'm not sure if there was a bug in the firmware that would be causing this issue ?

As a temp measure we have added IP addresses to each VLAN to get the site working again

There has been no changes to the switch configurations for the last 2-3 yrs it was all working until 10 days ago

thanks
Justin

Please upgrade to v1.5.2 or v1.5.3rcX and see if the issue is still there.

If the issues is still there then post up screen grabs of all TABs that have changes from default as well as provide a network diagram.
Support is handled on the Forums not in Emails and PMs.

interface status ?
Log ?
STP status ?
How much time the switch have been installed in same condition ?

You must help other to help you by giving enough informations else it's hard to answer anything else than upgrade firmware.
