We have two switches that are less than 1 month old, that have fans that have failed.
What's the procedure for getting these fixed/replaced? Do distributors have advanced replacements?

Covering the MAC prevents me from pulling up the info on the unit.
Why would you cover the MAC address, what possible security risk is that?
The only things that could cause ERR is:
- the fan cable came unplugged (open chassis and examine)
- something has wedged the fan such as a bug or dirt (examine the fan spins freely and does not rub)
- someone over tightened the 2 fan screws and locked the fan (try loosening the screws)
- the switch board or fan is damaged or defective (you will need to RMA the unit)

Apologies oh mighty one, it is standard procedure by our techs.
MAC: EC:13:B2:63:BE:06
I'll check the possible causes above.
Can you confirm that opening the unit will not void the warranty if the fan or board is defective and needs to be RMA'd?

Reminds me of when they redact RFC1918 or localhost IPs.
