We are getting Rx drops on our SFP port coming out of our router into the netonix. I am not sure what else it could be. We have changed out the router, SFP's, Netonix, and fiber jumper and it still gets Rx drops. Attached is a pic of the drops. I am not sure what else it could be.
Thanks,
Corey B.

Re: Rx Drops on SFP port
Here is the vlan config. I have this setup with all the other netonix switches.

Re: Rx Drops on SFP port
And the VLAN config from the Juniper ?
What is the MTU size on the SFP port ? Older firmware had a too small MTU by default and not have a preconfigured MTU set to 1528.

Re: Rx Drops on SFP port
Have the mtu set to 2000 on the netonix and the cisco router.
Router Config
description ** Connection to Connection to Ignyte Edge Microwave **
mtu 2000
no ip address
load-interval 30
negotiation auto
storm-control broadcast level 2.00
storm-control multicast level 2.00
storm-control action trap
qos-config scheduling-mode min-bw-guarantee
no keepalive
cdp enable
service instance 50 ethernet
description ** Connection to Customer Microwaves **
encapsulation dot1q 50
rewrite ingress tag pop 1 symmetric
bridge-domain 50

Re: Rx Drops on SFP port
I look the stats and most pass through. It's really hard to figure out what is dropped.
We would need a network capture on each side to figure out what is drop or not. Coudl you try a 2008 or even more MTU on the netonix SFP port. From my experience, Neonix SFP port need a littler more than remote device MTU if this device is sending frame at full size.
Does it affect your usage ? Else, it could be rejected network control protocol packets.

Re: Rx Drops on SFP port
I am still getting drops on it. Could it be one of the radios causing this issue you think even though I don't get the drops on those ports?
