It always seems to be just one more thing people want then they will buy our switches.
We came out with 12/24 ports and people said they needed Port Isolation, private IPs on VLANs, and VLAN trunking - we did that
People said they wanted small 8 ports to replace ToughSwitches - we did that but people wanted DC versions - ALMOST DONE THAT
Then people said they wanted 12+2 up-link port switch the same size as the 8 port - DONE BUT NOT RELEASED YET - BY END OF MARCH PROBABLY
I can not wait until the day when people say "WOW - you guys have exactly what we need"

Looks like some folks are holding out for DC versions.
Now that you have a direct drop-in replacement for the TS8-Pro, I would have thought they would go like hotcakes unless they are trying to avoid running inverters.
[edit] I also read that TS8-Pro inventories have mostly dried up and folks are waiting on the next production run to leave China.

Re: Some NEW Products
They look awesome Chris! I love the idea of turning lower priority PoE off when voltage gets low. I'm sure thats all software, and to that point have you considered a scheduling PoE option? This would be useful for DC sites. We're looking to power down AF during low use times and use the 5G backup to save power.
I'm planning to implement this using some Tik scripts and interface it with the WS using CLI. In my script I'm setting some traffic thresholds too, but just some food for thought.

WOW! These are exactly what we are waiting for. We have some high bandwidth towers that are on solar and the Toughswitches are just not cutting it. Plus, we can get rid of our separate voltage monitor.
I can't tell from the page, but what is the voltage range that can power these units? All of our solar sites are 24 volts.
