I have a web interface issue on a WS-26-400-AC. I can SSH in just fine and our monitoring system sees appropriate SNMP responses, but when I web browse the device the framework loads but with no values. Instead I see the message "Attempting to reestablish communications with the device". Ping, SSH and SNMP all work, so we can communicate with the device. I tried "/etc/init.d/lighttpd restart" but no change.

This WS-26-400-AC powers a bunch of MikroTik CRS switches (one every other floor in a high rise bldg). Last nite a sprinkler went off and damaged one of the MT CRS switches on a lower floor (way below the Netonix switch). Everything else in the building is running and only the customers on that one switch are affected. The sprinkler was on the 4th floor while the Netonix is on the 16th floor, so hopefully only the one PoE port on the Netonix saw problems, if at all.

I only saw this problem because I was investigating the sprinkler-caused outage but the issue with the WS-26 may be older and completely unrelated.

Try clearing your browser cache and refresh.
Try another browser and or computer.
Lastly try rebooting the switch which you can do via SSH.

Also I strongly suggest v1.5.5rc2 while your at this.

Let us know if any of the above fixes your issue.

Thanks but yes, I had tried other browsers and a different computer.
Although I was able to SSH in, I didn't immediately see a reboot command. I posted the question above and then got distracted.
Meanwhile our field ops guys swapped the switch.
I'll investigate further when I get the old switch back.
