Loving These Switches

Mon Feb 16, 2015 2:29 pm

I have close to 10 of these installed now (24 and 12 port version). I say close, because I've lost count. It might be eight, might be twelve. They just run, so I'm never having to touch them other than to upgrade firmware.

We just had one of the coldest nights of the year and things just chugged through. Here's a screen capture of the environment sensors in a box with the switch. 7*F and 4% humidity.... and not an issue.

Thanks Matt,

Yea, I was a little nervous myself because the past few nights have been so cold, not necessarily worried about our WISP Switches but ALL my equipment out on towers. Extreme cold can be worse than HOT sometimes, especially back in the day when we used Proxim links that used cavity diplexers which lost their tuning in extreme cold.
