Switches on backorder for over a month?

Tue Dec 03, 2019 3:43 pm

I have reached out to my supplier a couple of times and have been told that there is a supply issue from Netonix. Is there any truth to this? I only ask because I don't see anyone else talking about this on the forums here.

no it shows that the item will be on backorder. I already placed a large order of the WS-8-150-DC switches through ISP Supplies back at the end of October and have been in backorder limbo since.

I hate to be a bug about this but I've passed the 2 month mark and it would be good to let your community and customers know what the timeframe on shipping switches will be. the netonix store still shows that ws-8-150-DC will be on backorder if ordered today

Hi Guys, how about the 12-250-DC's?
I'm trying to order some through our Australian supplier and they report they are all back ordered too?

Cheers
Dan

coming up on 3 months now of backorder. I'm getting daily requests to reach out to our seller (ispsupplies) as we need these switches asap. this is actually to a point now where its impacting our growth and I am now tasked with trying to find another dc switch solution.... I'd rather not.

I call our seller twice a week at this point and I am told the issue is on Netonix's end. I have looked at other sellers and they are all in the same boat. I have tried to add product to cart on the Netonix store and it shows the same thing, switches will be on back order....

can you please update myself and the rest of your customer base on what is going on and when we can expect switches to ship.

sigh..its been a real pain in the ass trying to get caught up....seems lead
time for parts, etc has gone through the roof...we have boards arriving every
day that are being built into systems...we should be caught up by months end.

we have put larger orders into our different vendors to try & compensate for
the new longer lead times that have hit the industry....

Bumping this again as I am now almost at the 4 month mark without needed switches. I can put a couple guys on a plane to come help assemble switches if need be
