Can 48VH mode replace this PoE injector...

I'm looking for opinions on whether a Netonix switch could power a device that's currently using the PoE injector shown below.

Obviously 48VH mode is more than capable of supplying 60W but because of the "Endspan" & "Midspan" reference on the label in the "Power out pin" section, combined with the fact that the manufacturer documentation mentions that the injector "is designed to extract power from a conventional twisted pair Category 5 Ethernet cable" has given me pause.

I'm also open to feedback related to the fact that this PoE injector is rated for 56V output instead of 48V. My thought on that front (I guess my hope, since I can't find any good documentation on what the device being powered actually requires) is that the higher voltage is hopefully just to accommodate for voltage drop over longer cable runs & since my cable is only about going to be about 12ft long that hopefully the 48V supplied by the Netonix switch will be enough.

The label is a little odd, so I cannot give a definitive answer, but it looks like you should be able to use a Netonix as a replacement. It is supplying power on 4 pins, which on the Netonix would be VH mode (available on ports 1-2 or 1-4 on most models).

To be 100% sure, you'd need to post the specs for the device receiving power instead of the injector.

I wish I could post the specs on the device receiving power... so far I can't find anything definitive...

The device in question is Hikvision DS-2DF8236I-AELW camera. The data sheet simply states "Hi-PoE (injector included), maximum 60 W" which obviously is not helpful.

If anyone has other documentation on this camera that definitively states the operating voltage range of the camera and more importantly if it actually uses all 4 pairs for power I'd really love to see it!
