If possible, update the switch on tower 1, it might prevent those issue's in the future.
Actually, I believe 1.5.2 is still vulnerable to the vtss_appl crash's, and if that occurred it could have caused this.

You may want to check tower 1's logs to see what you find in there. Either way an update may prevent this from happening in the future.
