Auto tower climber
We need an automatic tower climber, just climb on and it does the rest!!

I've been thinking about something like this for a long time, and I actually have some ideas in my head on how you could do it....hmmm. Course...my version only works on towers that have a proper ladder, but does not really work for pegs.

Some tower companies do this using a pulley, rope, and capstan winch to haul people up. You can read about it every year or so on the OSHA website when fines were handed out due to the rope breaking and the people falling to their deaths.
For me I would rather take my time and climb slowly while either using a safety climb device or 100% attached to the tower. It takes more time and effort but I return home every night.

They already have one. Battery powered. Will have to look for link. It's been fours years ago.

Lurking. Catching a cellular signal from U.S. side of border is iffy, unless you get up in the mountains west of Juarez.
