WS12-250-DC No packets being passed between ports

I have 2 new out of the box WS-12-250-DC switches, both wont pass packets between ports. I've downgraded from 1.5.5 to 1.5.3 but no joy, i've then upgraded again but still no joy.

I've tried different equipment in the ports, rebooted many times. tried with a blank config, tried switching off STP all with no success.

I'm beginning to think my switches faulty as we have over 75 of these deployed in the same network with no issues?

Hi there. Looks like there is an issue with recent shipped SWs preloaded with 1.5.5. Please take a look at this thread: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=6243

HOWEVER, according your message, you already realoaded 1.5.5. I suggest to doublecheck the 1.5.5 is reloaded Also I was told on the mentioned thread, upgrading to 1.5.6rc2 is also an option.

Had exactly the same with two new 250-DC's - any update to this?

Downgraded to 1.5.4 fixed the issue, upgraded back to 1.5.5 no problem.

Please acknowledge this is an issue and whether we can trust the hardware, I am reluctant to put these switches back into production.
