We have a WS-12-DC purchased within the last 6 months, and it is being difficult. We are getting random packet drops, and started investigating. One of the things we noticed is that the information is not populated properly in the switch memory. The MAC address does not match the sticker, and the board Rev is incorrect (it is in fact the MAC). Is there a way to resolve this remotely? We tried to default the config, upgrade, downgrade, default again. No luck...
Edit: The switch is using the wrong MAC address, as I can see performing an Arp command returns the FF:FF:FF address associated with 192.168.1.20

Re: Wrong MAC Address
Hey qwerty, I can fix this for you but I will need console access to the switch. Could we arrange a time where you could provide me a TeamViewer connection with an rs232 console cable connected to the computer?
