Good day,
I currently have 3 netonix switches on my network. One of the switches seems to show up in the ARP table of all my radios on the network. But only the one switch does. The other two switches only show up on the local radio they are connected too? I have done a compare of the config files and only the usual things are different (IE. IPs, ports, site names). Any ideas what might be going on with this one switch? It doesn't seem to matter what PtMP radio I am in even the ones furthest away from this site and the gateway, the one switch still shows up in that radios arp table?
Regards,
Switch ARP table issue

Re: Switch ARP table issue
1) This is a very sparse problem description. Could you at least say which firmware version each switch is running?
2) Have you ever used Wireshark ? If not and you are interested what is going on in a network, it's a free tool that you should download and run on a host PC at different locations in your network.

Re: Switch ARP table issue
Your radio must first discovery the IP address to find the associated MAC and bound those in the ARP table. Without ARP request, the're no ARP learning. Anyway, seem more appropriate to ask your radio vendor if the issue is related to the ARP table of the radio. The switch won't be able to change anything about the ARP table of a different device.
