Hi,
I am experimenting with a Netonix WS3-14-600-AC switch running firmware 2.0.4 connected to a Mikrotik RB4011 with a 10G link.
At first, the 10G link would not come up. Disabled and enabled the link in vain. When I forced the interface of the RB4011 router
to negotiate a 1 Gbps link, the latter established. After that I put back the link on 10 Gbps and the link came up right away.
The second problem I encountered is that I could not power a Siklu radio using a cat 6A cable. The cable was testing fine.
The port would indicate OCP I believe.
As of yesterday night, even though the router interface to the Netonix switch shows up, I cannot ping the switch,
and the sub-interface I created on the 10 Gbps link is not carrying traffic. Prior to this the switch was reachable and the interface
carrying traffic for the last 10 days approximately after I kind of resolved the first problem.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Netonix WS3-14-600-AC

Was the port forced at 10 Gb/s first ? Autoneg is not part of the SFP+ 10 Gb/s standard, only the 10 Gb/s copper standard that came later. On SFP+, you must generally force it on both end.

Re: Netonix WS3-14-600-AC
I was trying to link a WS3 up with a Dell S4048-ON switch today. Would not come up at all with auto on both ends. On the WS3 you can only select port speeds 2.5 or 10Gb. I cycled from 2.5 to 10 and then on the Dell switch I set it to speed 1000 and then disabled it and poof the WS3 is not linking to the Dell at 10Gb.
Edit to add, this switch is running 2.0.4 also.
Every time I plug the SFP+ it links right up. Strange bug. I know for a fact that the dell switch port was set to auto and that's the only option on the WS3.

Re: Netonix WS3-14-600-AC
We do have a new firmware available for the WS3 now. Some of what you're talking about has been addressed, try out the new firmware and let's see if that fixes any of these issues:
