Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has ran into this problem over the years. We have a 2 port LAG set up with a Cisco IE-4000-8GT4G-E and a WS-26-500-DC. Everything works perfectly, but after a couple of hours, on the Cisco side, the LAG goes into err-disabled mode and shuts the entire port channel down. Here's the information I have so far:
- The Cisco is running rapid-pvst and the Netonix is running RSTP. Could this be causing the issue?
- Normal trunks (non LACP) going to the Netonix stay up without issue
- If I shut/no shut the port channel interface from the Cisco side, it will stay up for a few hours until it errors out again
- Netonix switch is running firmware 1.5.7
- Screenshots are what it looks like when the interfaces are down
CISCO# show interfaces status err-disabled
Port Name Status Reason Err-disabled Vlans
Gi1/4 Netonix Uplink err-disabled channel-misconfig (STP)
Gi1/12 Netonix Uplink err-disabled channel-misconfig (STP)
Po1 Link_to_Netonix err-disabled channel-misconfig (STP)
Has anyone seen this before? Maybe I'm not configuring something properly. I feel like I've tried everything aside from doing a full PCAP and opening a TAC case with Cisco.
Thanks in advance!
