Maybe I'm not understanding these switches like I need to but getting PVID's to work on these has not been successful. Here is what I'm needing....
I have an unaware vlan device I need to pickup DHCP from on a certain vlan; let's say 55. So DHCP hands our addresses on VLAN 55 and it comes in on Port 1. All other devices that are VLAN aware work fine on the tagged interfaces. But on Port 8 I need to plug in an unaware vlan device. How do I configure Port 8 to strip the tag and send the data out? On a normal switch I'd just set the PVID to 55, tag the port and we'd be good. But I'm having trouble finding how Netonix does this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: PVID Egress/Ingress Issues
Set port 2 to U or "untagged" to strip the tag for the vlan on that port.
look here for more info,
Also in the VLANs tab of the webUI you can click the ? in the top right corner to get a synopsis of each port/config meaning.
Or if you are using the CLI you can use the ? or tab key the same way you would a cisco CLI to get auto-complete options and help information
