Not able to get DHCP Snooping working on version 1.5.8
Has anybody else had any trouble getting DHCP Snooping to work on version 1.5.8
I cant seem to get it to work on a WS-26-400-IDC. I know that it only needs to be enabled on the interfaces that you dont want responding to any DHCP offers but when it wasnt working that way, I tried enabling it on the interface that faces the DHCP server but that didnt seem to work either.
I attached a copy of the switch config. And here is a brief video of the DHCP process working. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong.

Thanks for your help.

@sirhc @Stephen
Can you assist us with this please? We have tried currently firmware and one older and it seems to have no affect either way.

Hey sorry, afraid I missed this one earlier. This might be a bug but try this:
1. Enable DHCP Snooping on a port you want to prevent DHCP advertising on.
2. Save the config
3. Reboot the switch
Then check to see if it works.
*NOTE* if the procedure above DOES work, it is a bug, but it will at least give you a work around and me an idea of what I need to do to fix it.

Hello Stephen. Unfortunately rebooting the switch had no effect on the issue.
To be on the safe side, I reset the switch back to factory, reconfigured the switch, then rebooted the switch as instructed. But unfortunately after doing that, I was still able to get DHCP working on the ports where DHCP Snooping was enabled.

Can you provide some more information about the DHCP Server?

The DHCP Server is an ASUS Router (RT-AC66U B1).
