Re: Netonix Manager / Control Software
I updated to 1.0.18 successfully yesterday morning. I updated to 1.0.19 last night, and lost function (Cannot get any web connection).
Are there any other changes needed to run 1.0.19?
Is there a procedure for getting manager configuration information if I just start over with a new VM?

Since you're on VM I'm assuming your on Linux, in that case just copy over the contents of /var/lib/netonix-manager otherwise on Windows it should be C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\Netonix Manager\

Re: Netonix Manager / Control Software
I hadn't followed through until today. I installed a new VM (Ubuntu 20.04.3) and installed Manager 1.0.20. The VM CPU usage is at 100%.
I checked the old VM, and it has been pegged at 100% CPU for a while. Do you have any other instances of things like this occurring?

This worked easily. I created a new VM while still running the old VM, and ran:
- Code: Select all
scp -r user@1.2.3.4:/var/lib/netonix-manager/ /var/lib/
This moved all of my configurations.
My fundamental problem... was that I updated from Ubuntu 18 to Ubuntu 20. I read the thread in more detail and realize people are having issues with Ubuntu 20, so I moved back.

Re: Netonix Manager / Control Software
I am having issues updating the Netonix Manager from v1.0.17 to 1.0.18 via the GUI. I keep getting a "Crash Detected". I have clicked the link to send the crash log to Netonix.

I will ask Eric to chime in here. Yea it should be total bandwidth
Is this already solved? It seems that still display something strange...I have no idea what this value comes from? I wish there will be a total value (Rx/Tx agregate), v1.0.20

Re: Netonix Manager / Control Software
Is there an update as to when the Netonix manager will work on a newer Linux installation?
The included SSL cert and various SSL node modules do not work with recent OpenSSL versions.

Re: Netonix Manager / Control Software
Are there any specific ports for device management to open up?
Re: Netonix Manager / Control Software
I have scanned the bulk of this conversation, but I haven't found a discussion regarding a tutorial (video or manual) on how to use this tool. It is very cool at a glance, but I can't seem to figure out how to upgrade firmware from it (my page is blank when I click on the "firmwares" tab). Devices, configs and logs all show data, just not the "firmwares" tab. Sorry if this has already been discussed. Thanks in advance.
