swapping power supplies
if I have 2 12 250s, one AC and one DC, one with a dead board and one with a dead power supply, how do you tell the board that it now has a DC PSU?

I can not provide this information as it is a proprietary function that we do not want to let out into the wild as it allows access to many things.

No, that would not work as the configuration we use to define the model and MAC and such is stored on a different location than the normal config and firmware.
