A point of clarification on the zero bandwidth indication in the 1.0.21 manager for switches with 1.5.25 firmware, if in the manager an affected switch is selected and one goes into edit mode and toggles the monitor checkbox off/on and applies, the switch will go offline then online, with the initial report correct (nonzero). Once the first refresh of that value occurs the first number goes to zero and the second freezes, i.e., the refreshes all fail after the first report.

LOL, I see that.

Never know when .00000000001 might come in handy!!!! LOL

Probably floating point math issue?

But now we can focus back on WS3-E

Got to admit v1.5.25 fixed a LOT of long standing issues, the one that bothered me most was SFP not coming back up after reboot requiring power cycle or pull insert. I always held my breath during the reboot. Now that is 99.9% gone and if you experience it chances are you have a BAD SFP module.

Now manager fixed to work with v1.5.2X.

Work resumes on WS3-E... FINALLY, 4 months later due to hacker.

Now if you had access control list enabled you were always safe but after the 4+ month delay and a lot of $$$ in labor the WS line has best firmware version yet.

So just to be clear regarding manager: Can version 1.0.21 (or .22 or whatever is about to drop) upgrade Switches running 1.5.22 to 1.5.25? Was the issues between manager and 1.5.25 only for the web manage feature? (I don't care about this, only upgrading)

Switching from 5.16 to 5.25 causes some of the reports to break. The configuration file is slightly different. Maybe a space is gone or a comma is now there.

its not a problem to fix things but it was upexpected.

Hi,

Any chance you could share your RANCID module with the group?

Going from Manager 1.0.21 to 1.0.22 fixed the bandwidth display issue, but now I can't get any of the tabs or the logs or the edit window to open up. The URL displays in the address bar, but nothing appears other than the main screen. No pop-up blocker. The bad behavior is the same in different browsers (Firefox, Chrome). Windows 10Pro
Manual Uninstall/Reinstall didn't help.
Reboot didn't help.
Didn't have this problem in the prior versions.

Same issue as the previous poster, but with the following javascript error added:

Code: Select all
main.html:181 Uncaught TypeError: $(...).tooltip is not a function
 at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (main.html:181:37)
 at i (jquery-2.2.0.min.js:2:27065)
 at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery-2.2.0.min.js:2:27828)
 at Function.ready (jquery-2.2.0.min.js:2:29621)
 at HTMLDocument.J (jquery-2.2.0.min.js:2:29806)

Basically can't do anything that involves a popup (about, settings, device upgrade, device edit), nor click on any of the tabs across the top of the screen.
