v1.1.8
FIXES
- Fix an issue where a small number of UI/CLI reboots or firmware upgrade could resulted in the switch becoming inaccessible remotely.
- Fixes for Firefox and Safari - YES MORE FIXES
EXPLAINATION
When this occurred the switch would come up as expected continuing to power devices and pass traffic as configured but you could not ping the switch or log into the UI or CLI. This could be fixed by plugging your laptop into the switch which would wake up the Linux UI/CLI and or some people just rebooted the switch.
There is no way I would chose any version under v1.1.8, a false fan failure is a nuisance at best, losing control of a remote switch is a royal pain in the ass! It is a small chance but Murphy always bites you when you least expect it or want it!!!

RSTP bug ignores RSTP priority-- firmware v1.1.8 WS-8-250-AC
Hello,
Very cool switches. However, Netonix is sending BPDU with wrong RSTP priority.
Set to 16384
BPDU always sent with priority=0
Switch is running firmware v1.1.8
Attached is packet capture and Netonix switch config.

I've done 3 WS-24-400B updates from 1.1.1 to 1.1.8 so far, and all have gone flawlessly.

All ok, from her.
We only se the FAN issue on WS-8-250-AC, as you posted earlier that will be fixed later.
shout we be worried about this temp?
Board Temp 40 C / 104 F
CPU Temp 72 C / 162 F
PHY Temp 82 C / 180 F
Or what is a critical temp?

The CPU/PHY is rated at a die temperature of 125C.
We do not even turn the fans on until the board temp is 40C. Now once the Fans start though the board temp has to drop to 35C to shut down the fan.
We may change the fan criteria in the future?
