Place a check-box in the wisp side to allow or disallow "open" no security wifi networks. If unchecked or disabled by the WISP, the connection has to use WPA\WPA2 security even after a client reset to defaults. So the feature will be there if needed but by default it will not be. The only time I can think a client might want an "open" network would be for WDS repeating which I'm highly against anyways.
I was suggesting leave the wifi lan/wlan reset button and making it red and very easy to find while hiding the full WISP router reset button that would reset the wan side of the router.
The whole idea was to have two different usernames and passwords. One username and password set by the WISP for the WAN side of the router (one nvram chip) and a second username and password setup by the client for the LAN/WLAN side on possibly a second nvram chip?
