Re: Lost communication with web interface
Old thread - but I seem to be getting this too.....pings are good (~270 ms roundtrip time, because they're on another continent) but no loss...but I keep getting the red "Attempting to reestablish communication with the device ..." banner
I'm on OSX 10.10.2
Chrome 46.0.2490.86 (64-bit)
I unfortunately get the behavior on Firefox as well
Firefox 42.0
Would love to nail this down.
Is a firmware update likely to help me? I'm on 1.3.3. It's far away and has good but not perfect power....willing to give it a shot.

Re: Lost communication with web interface
I just lost communication to the web interface when trying to use the ping utility. I think I was pinging a device IP that was firewalled and was not getting any response, so I hit cancel, got the pink communication lost bar at the top, and now I can't get back to the interface at all. The switch is still running, I am getting access to other devices behind the switch, so I think it's just the web interface.
Is there a way to restart the web server on the switch? I'm running 1.3.8.
Ok, I waited about 5 minutes and was able to log in again. I tried to reproduce and couldn't. I think the pink bar is definitely involved somehow. I was able to ping available and unavailable devices with no issue and could not reproduce the behavior.
