thanks! we are not powering anything from them, just gige drops to end users / MDU situation

If your not powering anything but the next switch I would say you could safely do that and even more with no problem!

Please post back on your installation and maybe some screen caps of the load on the front end switch.

All I need to do is find some time. Kinda been hoping someone else would do it and post their results here.
