Has anyone ever got service from any of the vendors on the ISP B2B forum on DSL Reports? In particular Commquotes.... he is telling me about the carrier called Transbeam.... supposedly they are partners with ATT using there infrastructure in lots of areas. Below is a snippet from the email.
"The carrier here is Transbeam - one of our top enterprise partners (that you have never heard of). Transbeam is a boutique, MSP style carrier with a deep product set, exceptional NNI and Partnerships (in this case AT&T), and a best in class support structure (no tickets, IVR, etc - all cisco certified engineers answering the support calls). They have a legacy free single sourced Juniper Core and advanced ISP and CPE monitoring that allows for true transparency and visibility in your network - and seamless communication/troubleshooting with the NOC. For the last 20 years, they have grown organically and light up much of the Northeast, including NYC skyline, Philly, NJ etc, and over the last 5 years have expanded dramatically over the rest of the US. They are an excellent fit here - just a name you probably have not heard.
I have attached a datasheet for the Accedian EtherNID and MetroNID. The EtherNID is the model that would be deployed on your prem. The MetroNID is installed in Transbeam POPs and works with the EtherNID to test the circuit, as well as to tie into the SevOne (intelligent monitoring platform).
Pretty awesome as well that the NIDS allow for real time local loop testing without having to deal with or wait on the LEC, and they can do it without bringing your circuit down for one second. No carrier can touch their NOC TTA (Time to Answer) and TTR (Time to repair) metrics. "
Yall heard any good, bad, or indifferent about the carrier or Commquotes in genreal?
