WS-6 Mini or WS-8
If I'm powering two B5 radios, can the WS-6 Mini handle that or do I need the WS-8? Basically, do I need the 48VHV port for the B5. Also, do I need to change any pinouts for those radios?

Re: WS-6 Mini or WS-8
The ws-6 does not come with a power supply it is meant to be powered via poe
If it was powered by one of our switches it could power 2 b5c
If powered by our optional barrel connector power supply which is only 1.3 amps or 65 watts you would still be ok
Port 2 supports 48vh which is preferred to power b5c but ports 3-6 support 48v which is ok for cable rims under 150 feet
Personally I would use ws-8 or ws-12-259-ac

Re: WS-6 Mini or WS-8
I can get bigger power supplies from Tycon so that's not a big problem but now it's a wash on cost with the WS-8. What about the AF24 radios in the same scenario? I don't have a problem going to the WS-8, I was just trying to keep the size of the switch small to use a smaller NEMA but if the WS-8 will handle two AF24's, I'll just standardize on that.

We're quite happily powering two B5C's from a WISP-6 remotely powered from a WISP-12-250A (mains powered).

Re: WS-6 Mini or WS-8
Sorry - no change to pinouts.
We've even powered WISP-6's from the Mimosa PoE's - quite happily - for weeks. I think the Mimosa pin-out difference might have been a red herring. Mind you, we've still moved those off to the carrier UNBT 48v (all 8 pins wired) PoE injectors and swapped out the Mimosa PoE's.

Re: WS-6 Mini or WS-8
You can use MIMOSA POE adapters, discussed in thread below:
