High Power WISP Switch

Thu Aug 20, 2015 5:27 am

8/12/24 port Wisp Switch with all ports selectable to 24 and 48 HV

We need to install 2 12-DC Switches instead of a 24 port because we need more HV ports

I assume im not the only one

I would agree let say for example a WS-12-500A with (6) 48vh / 24vh ports.

We're needing this at Vivint as well. I've been in negotiations with Sirhc about it. It can definitely be done. I'm trying to get our research and development team to look more into it. If people will listen to me that Netonix is the best product for our business model... we'd save a lot of money, and I'd be saved a lot of headache as a Network Engineer.

But, if I'm not the only one asking for this, perhaps we wont have to invest so much in Netonix to make it happen! It would definitely make the price more appealing to other here. At least to be able to get our hands on a few to test before we dive full in.

Even if it were Dumb DC. Everywhere we would use this switch we'd have regulated battery backup anyway, with 48v power supply. All we need are more high voltage ports in a smaller box.
