Lakes
I have a PTMP link going form a water tower to a lake. I can hit one shore but not the homes. Have any of you installed near the shore? I am worried about issues do you think I will have any? What if I install a radio just high enough to have Fresnel over water do you think I could hit the other shore?

Re: Lakes
need more details..
over water I always suggest 100% second fresnel clearance.

Do you know a good Calculator for that. I normally use Mimosa but it dose not appear to do it.

Re: Lakes
Shooting over water can be difficult. You need the first fresnel zone to be quite a bit over the water surface. Also using slant 45 should improve the link as you can have inversion. Inversion is when water temperature and the air above is different (to my knowledge)....
