WS-8-250-DC GUI doesn't render correctly using Chrome on And

Mon Sep 14, 2015 10:10 pm

I'm using the latest Chrome on a Galaxy Note 5. The rendering problems should be reproducible on the lab.

I love the switch, this is really the only problem that I have with it.

Does this count as a bug report, or should I go about this differently?

I will say something to Eric but he is pretty busy on other issues.

Technically we do not support mobile devices so Eric may not do anything about?

HOWEVER Eric will be re-designing the UI in the months to come which will officially "support" mobile devices.

Ja, I've been pestering Chris and Eric about a mobile app ever since the POE Smart feature came out. Probably don't need all the functionality of a full browser but at least turning on and off POE, running cable diags, ping test, etc, should be available.

Of course there needs to be a few safeguards built in so you don't buttdial and shutdown your backhaul. :ak:

It is on our action list to offer a newer fresher interface.

We will give the user the ability to use the original UI or the NEWER UI.

The newer UI will be mobile device friendly but this new UI is several months away.
