My WS-12-250-DC had an odd event today, it is running 1.3.3 firmware and has been running for a few days with a variety of ubnt 24V devices . Today I enabled a 48V device (LigoPTPUnity) and within a few seconds of that port coming on the entire switch appeared to shut down with no apparent sign of life after several tense seconds I removed its power, upon repowering the switch booted up and ran fine including running the ligo. Power down the Ligo's port and that happens normally, power it up again and down goes the switch. Again I pull the power and repower it and it behaves like all is well ?
Any idea what gives ?

This is a weird one. Do you have the port enabled as a 48VH port?

Nope just 48V 0.75 A , plugged in on port #2. current total load including the idle Ligo is 45-55 Watts , 12V battery bank, no settings done on the 'Power' tab

Re: DC switch oddity noted
thanks, everything looks good, so lets make sure i understand what s going on...
- switch seems ok using 24 volt devices
- you enable a 48 volt device & switch powers off....do you mean it goes totally dead, as in even the green front panel power light not on?
- you remove DC power
- re connect DC power
- switch comes up ok, including 48 volt device
- you then turn off 48 volt device, all good still
- you then turn on 48 volt device & switch shuts off again??
