This weekend i started using a wispswitch, model WS-24-400A. Very impressed with how it works.
But i have an issue, i hooked up a Rocket 5AC lite to it, also powering it, but the rocket only shows 100Mbit on the lan port. Not the gbit is should be capable of.
Is this a know issue? Should i check the cable? The cable was working 1gbit with the original UBNT poe injector though.
Firmware version switch is 1.3.3
I used port 9 for this device set to 24V. Port 1 to 3 power some airfibers, and they are 1Gbit.

Re: Rocket 5AC lite only 100Mbit
did you run a cable diagnostics on the port in question? if you did & it reports ok, please try another port on the switch with same cable, if it still only works at 100mbit, try another cable.

I had a similar event when connecting an AF5X, the cable test fingered "Abnormal termination pair 4" at a distance that looked conspicuously like the distance to a splice I had done, chopped out and replaced the splice and BAM Giggety Giggety Connectivity

Re: Rocket 5AC lite only 100Mbit
Just did a cable diagnostics:
Pair 1 Status Ok
Pair 2 Status Ok
Pair 3 Status Ok
Pair 4 Status Open
Seems i need to have a look at the cable. Weird thing is that it worked on Gbit with the UBNT poe injector.

I tend to preach this like a born again Christian, but check your crimp. An overcrimped RJ45 plug can work perfectly in one jack and fail in another. Of course, check the jack too for a stuck spring pin.

It's an active link, will test asap and report back here. 100mbit is sufficient for now, but not as it should be.
Thanks for the feedback!!

Re: Rocket 5AC lite only 100Mbit
Just reporting back here, replaced the connector on the switch side, and now it's 1Gbit fortunatly, saves the effort of replacing a connector up in the tower.
Thanks for the feedback, all solved now :-)
