Searching for a NEMA

Fri Oct 09, 2015 4:07 pm

Hi,

I'm looking for a fiberglass (or other semi-light weight) enclosure for top-of-tower applications. I'm trying to DIN mount a WS-12-250-DC in one, which requires at least ~10 inches due to it's height. I'm having a hard time finding:

a) One that is deep enough (12-13" deep) to hold the switch
b) One that isn't overly large
c) One that isn't terribly expensive

This comes close, but it's only 10.26" deep on the interior, which doesn't leave enough room for the WS's DIN rail mount + cables:

I may have to come up with alternative mounting options just to get this switch to fit.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks,

Josh

@jbaird

Take a look at Schneider Thalassa PLM enclosures. They have many different sizes including mount for DIN rails...
