We are using a WS-12-250A. Firmware 1.3.8
Status says we are using 140W of 250; temps are good
We were trying this morning to configure a port (port 3) to power an Airfiber 3X. There was not a device connected to the port at the start. In the POE drop-menu, only 24V .75A, 48V, .75A, 48HV 1.2A appeared there. Later this afternoon we went back to install the 3x, and from our Iphone (safari) 24HV was suddenly available. We chose it, then it disappeared until we refreshed the entire page. We ended up choosing it a couple of more times, then suddenly it stuck and powered the device correctly.
About an hour later, pulling up the switch from my office (chrome Windows 10), I see the following:
I think you can see the weirdness. Port 3 IS powering an Airfiber 3x, check the status at the top, as the port is selected currently. Notice in the drop menu for POE it is Purple but "Off".
Any insights here?

Re: 24VH appearing then disappearing from menu
The WS-12-250A does NOT support 24VH, never did.
However you can power airFIBER X radios up to 200' of cable with 24V if the port is rated at .75A with older RevA-C board only support 24V .75A on ports capable of 48VH which on this model is ports 1-4
You can refer to our PDF and our web store to see which models support what POE options on what ports.
http://www.netonix.com/media/wysiwyg/ws-specsheet.pdf
The fact that Safari showed 24VH as an option must be a bug in the UI with Safari and we will investigate that.
However you know 24VH is NOT supported with that model, just because the UI bug shows the option does not mean it can modify the hardware to suddenly support it.
You should power off the device and select a VALID POE option for that port which is 24V .75A
At this point there is an INVALID POE configuration on port 3 which you need to clear somehow.

Also note that the invalid POE option is causing the power graph to error.
Please try and get port 3 POE option set to a valid option as soon as possible.
It may require you to go out to site and unplug the cable then select a valid option then select desired option?

What browser is this Adair?
If you select 24VH because of a browser UI bug weird things will happen as the hardware is NOT there.

Re: 24VH appearing then disappearing from menu
This is in google chrome.
It's showed up like this since day 1 probably 3-4 months ago. I have over a dozen WS-12-250A's running and this is the only one that shows up like this.

Is there anyway you can factory default this and set it back up, do not export and import but rather default then setup manually.
Is someone select this invalid value bad things can happen.
But now to figure our how it happened, did you ever user Safari or other browsers other than chrome when making a config change?

Re: 24VH appearing then disappearing from menu
This switch was setup from scratch. I only ever use Chrome. Even on my ipad, I use chrome.
I just logged in from internet explorer (ick) and it's showing the same way in it.
here are the switch details.
System
Current Time 11/24/2015, 11:20:39 PM
Uptime 72 days 23:24:55
CPU Usage 25%
Memory Usage 44.84 MB
MAC Address ec:13:b3:21:14:3c
IP Address 172.16.99.250
Firmware Version 1.3.2
Board Rev D
I could technically default the switch and set it back up remotely. But probably need to wait till way later tonight. Do you want me to run an upgrade on it first?

Re: 24VH appearing then disappearing from menu
Ok will do.
I wonder if I should change the AF5x ports to 24V instead of 24VH so that nothing gets weird during the upgrade.
