I am not seeing this on my switches.

Can you a different browser and or different computer.

Does this happen everytime or just this once?

Another report: I have a mini that had rc7 on it that stopped responding to SNMP, but ping/web worked fine. Putting rc8 and the subsequent reboot fixed that. This mini had a 5day uptime and only has one port in use other than the port 1 which powers it. Oddly enough, we have another mini at the same site with the same uptime/rc7 that wasnt exhibiting this SNMP issue.

I upgraded a WS-6-MINI to 1.3.9rc8. I upgraded it from the standard to the RC because I was seeing a high CPU load and having SNMP failures. I now have 99% CPU load when I have SNMP enabled that does not go away without SNMP disabled and the switch rebooted. I have attached a screenshot of the switch with SNMP disabled.

Yes you can downgrade to v1.3.8 but this does not make sense. I would re install the v1.3.9rc8 and then "power cycle" it. Make sure to leave power off for at least 5 seconds or it could boot funny as it did not have time to power down completely.

This may be related to another bug? (this is a guess)

Read this post viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1263&p=9689#p9689

Do you have your SNMP server configured in the switch as a name or IP ?

v1.3.9rc8/WS-6-MINI

I am only querying the switch with SNMP; not using TRAPs or using syslog so I do not believe the bug mentioned in the topic above is it. I have attached my configuration below to see if something maybe stands out to you. I will be reloading the software and then performing a hard reboot later today to see if maybe it was only a bad load as you mentioned to be a possibility last night.

Living on Easy Street, I was sitting in my leather recliner and pushed RC8 onto a WS-6 and then to a WS-24 with no issues except the UFV NVR and cams tank from a few missed packets. Nothing a reboot can't fix.

We reloaded and then rebooted. The SNMP CPU issue went away so it must have been a bad load. Thanks for the help. The only issue I see at this point is that port 1 has a link light on it with nothing plugged in and no power applied to the port. I have attached an image.
