Port throughput incorrect

Wed Dec 30, 2015 7:14 pm

Just put up a new WS-12-250-DC, and it shows between 50-150mbps TX from port on and RX on port 13... but when I login to the devices on those ports, they show ~20mbps max. Any ideas?

What device?

We report 1 second average most devices report a larger time span average.

I have checked our stats before and they are spot on.

something to keep in mind is that when you log in to a switch and don't select a specific port. the switch reads the aggregate throughput.
I.E. 20Mb in Port 1 and 20Mb out port 8 would show up as 20Mb TX and 20Mb RX at the top right and on the graphs at the bottom.
IF pirt 5 starts moving 20Mb of traffic than it'll show 40x40, etc.
Clicking on the port itself will show what that port is moving. I've checked several times between what we graph and what the mikrotik router shows in real time and the switch has always tracked along and showed the correct values.
